YouTube Music is working to enhance the listening experience for its users. The company has introduced the live lyrics feature for its music streaming app, available to all Android and iOS users. This live lyrics feature allows users to read along while listening to songs. It’s worth noting that this feature was initially spotted on YouTube Music in April but is now being widely rolled out.

According to 9to5Mac, this feature is now available on the YouTube Music app for both Android and iOS operating systems. The feature aims to improve the music experience, providing an interactive, dynamically updated music display alongside better design and music assignment. However, it’s not yet available for all songs, with plans for future updates.

If you haven’t received this feature on your phone yet, you can update the app. Android users need to update to YouTube Music app version 6.15, and iOS users need version 6.16 to access the interactive music feature.

Live lyrics were first rolled out in Spotify in India in June 2020 and later expanded to more countries until November 2021.
