5 NEW COOL FEATURES IN WHATSAPP

World’s leading platform WhatsApp announced some new cool features.

Screen sharing On video calls

Earlier this month, Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, introduced a new feature that lets you share your screen while you’re on a video call. This means you can easily show others what’s on your screen, no matter what platform they’re using. It’s really useful if you want to display something without having to use apps like Google Meet, Zoom, Discord, or Skype.
To share your screen on WhatsApp, just start a video call with one person or a group, and then tap the ‘Share’ icon at the bottom of your screen. Once you grant permission for the app to record your screen, everyone on the call will be able to see what’s on it.

Send High Quality photos

Even though WhatsApp is the go-to texting platform for billions of people, it didn’t allow users to send high-definition (HD) images until recently. This was quite frustrating because users had to use external solutions to share high-quality photos. However, in a recent update, the messaging app has added the ability to send HD images and has plans to include HD video sharing soon.
To send images in HD, all you need to do is open a chat, select the photo you want to share, and then tap the ‘HD’ button that appears at the top. Just keep in mind that by default, WhatsApp sends compressed images. So, if you want to send photos in HD, you’ll have to tap the ‘HD’ button each time you send a photo.

Do video chat in Groups

Just like Discord’s voice chat and Twitter Spaces, WhatsApp is introducing a new feature called ‘Voice chats’ for people who want to have group conversations.
In contrast to WhatsApp’s group call feature that rings everyone’s phones, the ‘Voice chats’ feature sends a quiet notification. Unlike ‘group calls’ where you have to manually add people, this new feature lets you easily join or leave the call whenever you wish.
This is handy if you’d rather not disturb everyone with a loud call and just want to chat with the group members. When someone starts a ‘voice chat’, the group icon will automatically switch to a waveform icon and display a ‘Connect’ button.

Recaption sent media

Have you ever shared a photo on WhatsApp and then noticed the caption had mistakes? Instead of sending a separate corrected caption or re-sending the whole photo, WhatsApp has made it possible to edit captions for media files. This feature works similarly to the ‘Edit message’ option, which lets you edit text messages within 15 minutes of sending them.
To fix media captions after sending them, just tap on the media message that has the caption. You’ll spot an ‘Edit’ button, just like the one you see when editing text messages.

Create groups without name

Just yesterday, Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, shared some updates about WhatsApp that will make things easier for users. Now, when you create groups on WhatsApp with up to 6 people, you won’t need to come up with a name for them – the app will take care of it automatically based on who’s in the group.
The company also mentioned that if someone not in your contacts joins the group, they’ll only be able to see your phone number. Plus, the group names will be taken from your contact list.
Keep in mind that these changes are being gradually rolled out, so it might take a little while before you see them on your own device.

Make your community

Now you can make your own community on WhatsApp with adding extra groups in single community tab .
